HP 9142A tape drive
I purchased this drive locally as untested, directly from the previous user, together with an HP 150 Touchscreen II and a 9142A tape drive.
Unfortunately, it suffers from the same issue as many HP tape drives from the era, the rubber on the capstan has completely degraded and needs to be replaced.

The power supply looks to be in good condition, with no leaking or RIFA capacitors:
Looking at the drive, it looks to be in good overall condition, but the rubber on the capstan has degraded to the point that it can no longer be used without replacing the rubber:
